Pandemic (H1N1) 09 Vaccination Program Update
Queensland Health has provided the following information for dissemination to general practices.
Current Situation
As of 30 September 2009, the Pandemic (H1N1) 09 Vaccination Program commenced in Queensland. Due to the short distribution timeframe some providers may not have received the vaccine for the start of the Program.
GPs who are participating in the Program should expect to receive the vaccine in the next couple of days.
For those GPs who would like to participate please complete and fax this form to the Queensland Health Immunisation Program to fax 3328 9720 or fax 3328 9721.
GPs are encouraged to actively promote the vaccination to all people with an emphasis on the importance of vaccinating those within the priority group. The vaccine can be given to people 10 years and over who wish to be vaccinated.
